Power Consumption in KW vs. Treadmill Model

One easy way to figure out the power consumption of a treadmill is this:

1 HP = 746 watts per hour.

So if you have 2 HP treadmill, then it will be 2*746 watts.

Electric bill is measured in KW (kilowatt) so a 2 HP treadmill consumes 1492 watts. 1492 watts is 1.492 KW or units.

Multiply the unit with the cost of electricity and you will get the electricity bill.
