I have not done any lab tests on this but Himalaya quista kidz does bring something extra to the table when it comes to healthy drinks for kids.
Himalaya quista kidz review – What you need to know
Himalaya quista kidz review
Overall I find this Himalaya quista kidz as one of the best options for your child if he/she is over 2-3 years at least. It has all the ingredients that a child might need for overall growth.
⇒ Himalaya quista kidz perfectly covers the three main concerns of child’s growth. It has all the right ingredients for physical growth, memory power, and immunity.

And the vanilla or all-time favorite chocolate as a flavour. All kids love these flavours!
I as a kid always liked chocolate flavour milk drinks so many kids will like these too.
⇒ There are no preservatives and this is low in fat. But there is some added sugar. This sugar is probably here to enhance taste and flavour.
⇒ Apart from flavour the ginger and prebiotic fiber is good for gut health. It is similar to prebiotic drunks/tabs that we adults have.
Home made curd could do the same too and that is a more natural way of maintaining the gut health.
And with all of this, like all other health drinks for kids, himalaya quista kidz also provides all the necessary vitamins like A, C, E, D for optimal growth.
⇒ Himalaya quista kidz could be beneficial but it is costly when you look at the 200-gram pack. And not to discourage you but any supplement is not necessary for most of us but still, it is good to have.
Overall I like this Himalaya quista kidz.
Unique Ingredients
In this Himalay Quista kidz review lets go over the unique ingredients that this health drink has. These herbal ingredients are very rare in all other kidz health drinks.
- Tulsi: Many children have low immunity and tulsi is known for supporting the immune function of our body. Also Tulsi in the himalaya quistak idz will help to ease the common chough, cold, sore throat. Tulsi might help with building up immunity as well.
- Colostrum: Colostrum may promote immunity, improve gut health and help with fighting infections. Although Colostrum promotes growth in infants and in newborns but research shoes that it can still help when you are older.
- Gotu Kola: I drank Gotu kola juice prepared by my mother. I am not sure whether it actually helped me with memory or not 🙂 But Gotu kola is widely known as to improve memory, learning ability, concentration. And the kid might need all of these to learn at school.
- Almond: Almond as a nut is calorie and nutrient dense food. And Almonds are known for their rich vitamin E content. With this himalay quista kidz there is the benefit of getting this superfood at your side.
- For full benefits you might want to take a look at almond butters. But those are reserved for older people than children.
- Ginger: Ginger is a household herb that is used in cooking and making tea. Out of all other benefits this herb can help your child with digestion and may improve appetite.
Other than these here are the vital ingredients of HImalay Quista Kidz
Milk Protein
The milk protein contents are 46% of this blend and those sources are skimmed milk powder, whole milk power, whey protein concentrate, casein protein and bovine colostrum powder (0.4%).
As you can see the protein source of the himalaya quisa kidz is all milk protein.
Which is great unless there is any lactose intolerance happening.
Dosage
For age in between 3 to 6 years 1 scoop twice daily is enough with milk or lukewarm water.
For the age group of 7-10 years, 2sccop twice daily with milk or lukewarm water is recommended by Himalaya Quista Kidz.

Himalaya quista kidz Benefits
The three key benefits by Himalaya Quista Kidz are –
Growth: With 46% of milk protein the quista kidz has lots of casein and some whey protein in it. And milk protein is best for overall growth. Also this has Vitamin B and minerals which may help with boosting energy and help with overall growth.
This quista kidz also has prebiotic fiber, ginger which may keep the digestive system healthy.
And vitamin D will keep up bone health.
Immunity: Tulsi, colostrum, vitamin A,C,E and minerals help with maintaining and boosting immunity.
Memory: Iron, iodine, taurine help the growth of the nervous system. Where the mandukaparni, almond are known for their memory enhancing effect.
Himalaya quista kidz Side Effects
There are no bad elements used in the quista kidz. The only side effect I can think is related to lactose. What if the consumer has lactose allergy then the 46% milk contents might worsen it.
Otherwise there should be no issues. And note that Himalaya quista pro themselve recommend taking this blend with lukewarm water or milk.
Himalaya quista kidz age limit
Himalaya quista kidz has an age limit of minimum 2 years. I would say give your kid this from 3 year onwards. Also this Himalaya quista kidz is not an infant solution or a meal replacement.
And if your child is allergic to milk then it is a big NO. Himalaya kidz contains 46% milk protein sources. Also it has some small amount of soy also.
Himalaya quista kidz vs Pediasure
First thing off the bat, these are pretty similar but yet different. And my vote goes to the quista kidz.
Pediasure has a mix of milk powder and malt whereas Himalaya Quista kidz has 46% milk basd blend.
This gives himalaya quista kidz more protein than pediasure.
*Pediasure gives 14.1 gram of protein per 100 gram, where the quista kidz gives 17 gram of protein per 100 gram.
And the rest of the ingredients are pretty similar and minor differences are not vital at all.
And also note that himalay quista kidz has few great herbs in it, which pediasure lacks.
But pediasure is a little cheaper and comes in kesar badam flavour and also in 1 kg packs.
But still I would choose all himalaya quisat kidz is the one to get!
Himalaya quista kidz vs Complan
Like pediasure, complan lacks the herbs but provides 18 gram of protein (milk solids 54.8% in complan) per 100 gram instead of 17 gram of protein as provided by himalaya quista kidz.
Also complan is available in more sizes and flavours tha himalaya quista kidz.
Apart from these there are no other benefits of choosing Complan over quista kidz.
Himalaya quista kidz vs Horlicks Junior
Horlicks junior is made of 35% wheat flour (atta), barley malt 25%, milk solids 25%. And the protein here is 12 gram per 100 gram of horlicks.
And note that the protein mostly comes from atta and barley since those are the main ingredients here. And quista has protein that comes from milk.
Milk protein is more superior and also quista has herbs which are helpful for children.
So himalaya quista pro is better than horlicks as per protein content.
But horlicks junior is less costly.
