You should get some post-workout drink that has protein, preferably whey, and electrolytes. Also, carbs would be good 🙂 

On the other hand, if you are into gaining weight like me then you can snack on peanut butter, whey, and any other carbohydrate source as you, please.

And drink plenty of water in both cases.

So in a gist, if your budget permits or if you see the whey-added peanut butter and the non-whey peanut butter are of the same price then you can simply go with the latter.

Otherwise, just buy whatever tastes nice, if you are generally healthy then would 1 gram of sugar make any difference? If you do not like the PB taste then it might feel like a drag.

I am sure you will not want to eat peanut butter every day then as well.
